Advertising with us

Postal Administrations will be given the added opportunity to take a banner or spotlight advertisement to link directly to their web sites. These advertisements will be driven by search requests from visitors looking to obtain information from any of this site's different countries' new stamp issue pages. Advertisements will be sold at a 6-month basis.

There are also a number of 'primary pages' within Collector's Target (see list below). These high traffic positions offer advertisers a unique opportunity to reach all site visitors. A single Banner and Spotlight will appear on each page and are offered on a monthly basis.

Locations and rates per month are listed below : (US$)

Future Plans

Collector's Target's Third Millennium Stamp Reference Catalogue will also be a thoroughly 'interactive' place where visitors will be able to participate in email chat forums and enter a variety of competitions. Other innovative site features include regularly updated stamp 'news' pages, a useful glossary of collecting terms, a stamp identifier and links to philatelic pages of different sort throughout the world.

Postal administrations, collectors and dealers will be closely involved in the overall development of Collector's Target.
The site will also serve an educational role by inviting younger stamp collectors to visit their own area of the site to obtain useful information and free gift offers. Stamps are wonderful educational tools - we aim to bring them to the next generation of collectors.

Adding new issues to our 3rd Millennium Stamp Catalog

The intention with this service is to make it a reference catalog with images of all stamps and First Day Covers issued throughout the 3rd Millennium, i.e. from 1.1.2000 and onwards.

There are many illegal or fraudulent stamp issues on the market, and there are quite a lot of countries that already has been hit. This catalogue will show only the stamps from a certain country or territory, which are issued by it's legal postal administration. This will help many collectors from getting 'ripped-off'. Read more about this phenomena here.

This service is free of charge, which also would mean a good promotional value, since the number of individual visitors to this site in May 2003 were 1'400. Up to date (May 2004), the number has increased slightly each day, and are now about 300 visitors more, around 1'700.

In view of this, there are some regulations and rules to be followed, not only by you, but also by us.

Surely you are interested in participating, since this is a good souce for extra publicity. We ask you therefore to write us, on your official stationery, since we only deal with the official, legal stamp issuing authorities (see Postal Administrations), and ask us for information on how to go with publicity for postage stamp issues in our on-line Third Millennium Stamp Catalogue.

This request should be directed to:

Dr. Malte Aronsson,
Editor-in-Chief,
Collector's Target p.by.,
PO Box 30039,
SE-40043 GÖTEBORG,
SWEDEN.

Both administrations and collectors will be closely involved in the overall development of Collector's Target.
The site will also serve an educational role by inviting younger stamp collectors to visit their own area of the site to obtain useful information and free gift offers. Stamps are wonderful educational tools - we aim to bring them to the next generation of collectors.

Most of the feedback we receive, are congratulations on our sharp, colourful and exact images. Probably this is one of the reasons why collectors keep coming back, and talk to their friends about our web site.

Collector's Target

Free Gifts

Some Postal Administrations likes to attract new customers, by giving away little gifts.

In fact, this is a golden way of attracting new customers, also to have more people interested in your country's stamps.

The gifts could be various: a stamp set, a FDC, a souvenir sheet, a souvenir like a pin, a badge, a calendar, etc...

Why not commercialise your stamps on Collector's Target? We will hold a raffle on our website, our visitors (members) send their application for a free gift, and after one month we will make the draw, and send you the names and addresses of those who won. You will send the free gifts to the winners, alternatively, you ship us the gifts and we send them out from here. In the later case, enclose in the shipment also the same number of stock lists, order forms, standing order forms, etc for us to enclose with the gifts.

We are talking about either one large gift to be drawn to only one person, or a few, say 10 smaller gifts to 10 winners - or a number of gifts you decide.

Please contact us immediately in the case this sounds interesting to you.

Collector's Target - The place to go for links to just any philatelic page and site on the planet - also chat, irc, buy, sell, exchange lists plus info on new stamp issues from a variety of countries.
