The Golden Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth 11 - An Art Gallery
Isle of Man

The Isle of Man Post Office has issued a second set of five stamps that trace the reign from the Coronation in 1953 until the present day.

They have chosen masterpieces from world-renowned royal portrait painters who have undertaken official sittings with Her Majesty; these include Terence Cuneo, June Mendoza, John Wonnacott, Chen Yan Ning. Unusually the stamps have been printed on a small pictorial sheet, with the addition of gold foiling and the official Golden Jubilee Crest.

A small miniature sheet will also be issued featuring a bronze bust by accomplished sculpture David Cregeen

accomplished sculpture David Cregeen MA hons M Phil who has Manx ancestry. David Cregeen sculpted the bustof HM Queen Elizabeth II for The Commonwealth Secretariat and The Sackler Foundation, Washington DC. An edition of the bust may be seen at Buckingham Palace.

A Prestige booklet will be available containing the set of stamps and miniature sheet.
