6c - Our Friends the Animals
Children are intimately tied to their pets. They love and cherish them but most of mall feel ant care for them as if they were the closest of relatives. This is maybe because they share not only the innocence of beginnings but also the carefree fun attached to the discovery of the new.  Their fragility is an added bonus for their bonds.

6c - The Natural Environment         
If any world educational campaign ever succeeded with the young, this was the one about the care of the environment. In this stamp aspects of the environment, as seen through the eyes of a child, will move adults to protect the world we live in more than many volumes of words.

6c - Malta in the 21st Century
Young people live the future more than anyone else. Their eyes  penetrate the ambitions  and challenges of a changing world but not without what they already know through accumulated knowledge at school. This stamp looks to the future through the window of the megalithic temples of our forefathers. It invites us to aim for the stars with the confidence and security of the past.

6c - Peace  in our Time
It is difficult to view the world totally at peace, in some remote corner during some of the time, humans seem to fall into conflict. Our continuous vigilance and prayers add to the vigour with which we feel proud when we œntribute even a small share to world peace. Young students cannot afford to let peace slip through their eager hands.
