3c  - Hoary Rock-Rose - Cistus creticus - Cistu Roza    
A very scarce wild flower found mainly in garigue, where occasionally it is the dominant species. Its pinkish red large flowers can be met with in spring, on a shrub with sticky leaves.

10c - Evergreen Rose - Rosa sempervirens - Girlanda tal-wied           
A rare perennial evergreen climber with thorny stems, glossy compound leaves and shiny red fruit. Its white flowers appear in spring and in early summer. Found growing in maquis and on the sides of sheltered valleys.

12c - Wild Artichoke - Cynara cardunculus - Qaqocc tax-xewk
A common perennial with very large spiny leaves, generally flowering in early summer. It has large deep bluish-violet flower heads, and grows in steppes, especially on clay and garigue, sometimes even on disturbed ground.

20c - Maltese Pyramidal Orchid - Anacamptis urvilleana - Orkida Piramidali ta'Malta
A scarce endemic orchid, resembling the Common Pyramidal Orchid (Anacamptis pyramidalis, seen in background), but having smaller and paler pink or white flowers. Flowers can be found from February to April in fatigue and rocky steppes.
  
£M2 - Pheasant's Eye - Adonis microcarpa - Ghallet is-Serduq         
A rare annual wild flower with delicate fine leaves and bright red flowers appearing during the months of - winter and spring. Can be found growing in cultivated land. Heavily    persecuted through picking.
