On 13 November 2002, the Ministry of Post and Communications of the Czech Republic issued a commemorative postage stamp with a denomination of CZK 6.40. The stamp bears a Christmas tree stylized as a house with shining, coloured windows, snowflakes and a Christmas Star in the form of a rose flower with a golden tail.
There will be a First Day Cover including a commemorative cancellation, the cachet of which is a contour of the Czech Republic under the snow sheet expressing a Christmas atmosphere. The cover is printed by recess print from flat plates in blue.
The stamp is valid for inland and international postage from 13th November 2002 onwards.
